I will show you a cheap weed killer combination I sprayed on my lawn this fall. My normal fall lawn care application consists of Specticle Flo, 2,4-d, Simazine and Surfactant. I use that on bermuda and zoysia lawns. For centipede and St augustine lawns, I remove the 2,4-d from the mix. This combination of pre and post emergent herbicides helps with both broadleaf and grassy weed control in the lawn without hurting the grass. My yard is really big so for a cheaper and slightly less effective option, I sprayed Prodiamine, Simazine, Metsulfuron and Surfactant. Links are below for these products. This combo may not provide the same level of weed control in the yard, but it definitely comes with a reduced price tag for those looking for a cheaper option.
