Learn an easy way to fix standing water in the yard. My lawn had a low spot that held water during heavy rains. We decided to install a small square catch basin that has made a huge difference. We then connect a pipe to the catch basin that runs to a draining ditch. We dug the ditch for the pipe with a mini excavator. If you do not have a place for the water to drain, then you may need to look at installing a french drain. Or if the problem is not bad, then you may can simple grade the dirt or add topsoil to help solve the problem.
