Winter time can have a huge impact on your grass. Lawn problems like dead matted brown spots won't just "go away". Snow mold is a fungus that causes irreperable damages. Follow these steps to resolve the snow mold fast!.

1. lightly rake the grass upward
- using a leaf rake is a great start. Electric dethatchers like the sun joe scarifier and dethatcher will not only speed up the process but it is far less invasive at ripping up the grass
2. let the grass dry out
- If you want to speed up the process use a backpack or handheld blower and gently go over the lawn.
3. Mow the grass one or two clicks lower than normal to top the head of the grass off.
4. Optional
- Lawn Aeration
- fungicide
- Put more grass seed out.
