This video shows a lawn that has standing water in two areas and has to go over the curb to ever drain out into the street, or wait till it can soak down through the soil. This solution is simple as water always will take the path of least resistance. Installing a drainage catch basin and plumbing an outlet through the curb (example shown in video) would drain the water off the lawn, alleviating the drainage concern.
