This yard is in my immediate neighbourhood and has not been mowed for many months.
The homeowner is unable to maintain the yard themselves due to personal reasons and needed some help.
This video is part one and focuses on the outer edge of the large corner block. I also test out some new camera angles and edging techniques.
I know this is not your typical overgrown yard but like mental health not everything is at one end of the spectrum. It fluctuates up and down.
Unfortunately this homeowner has been the subject of negative judgement due to the state of their lawn from people in their neighbourhood. It was confronting to witness this and it reminds me how important it is to be kind to people.
$100 from this videos revenue will be donated to The Black Dog Institute, which is the only medical research institute in Australia that investigates mental health across the lifespan. Their aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.
