I highly recommend Argentine Bahia grass. No fungus, no bugs damage, less watering. This grass loves the heat, loves rain and looks amazing. No weeds! You may see some weeds in winter when it goes dormant, but they can easily be pulled. You can not use weed killer on this grass. I have poor sandy soil in the front yard and this grass is doing great! One more tip - cut this grass a bit high to let it establish and create a beautiful lawn. A pallet of this grass was only about $120. Twice less than high maintenance st augustine grass
