This heavy clay lawn finally got some TLC. Were aerated then applied some Gypsum. Then an overseed for the thin spots and finally a layer of multipurpose compost from field compost.co.uk (field number 4) to add in some organic matter - introduce more beneficial Fungi, and start to improve the soil to make it a more amenable environment for grass to thrive.
