Doing my best to answer a laundry list of questions that have come in on the F14, this one relating to clearance with transport mode. The F14 had a solid 10” of clearance.
The BOSS 9.2 has a clearance (at the wing tips) of about 3”. I measured from the cutting board at 6”, but from the edges it’s about half that.
Now to be fair, we usually kick the BOSS wings up and out just a tad, doubling our clearance. However that makes the plow much less aerodynamic on roads (and especially on the highway).
What’s your guys thoughts on the F14 vs the BOSS on its height and clearing curbs/obstacles? No put down to BOSS (we love our 9.2, and there’s things the F14 CAN’T do that BOSS can, more on that later) but 10” sounds better than 3”, for what it’s worth!
