Fixing a hole in my lawn

This is what I do fix holes in my lawn

🌟 Clear the area - Remove any debris, rocks, or dead grass from the hole to create a clean surface for the topsoil to settle.

🌟 Add topsoil, I used a normal bag of loam for this project Fill the hole with topsoil until it is level with the surrounding ground. Be sure to use high-quality topsoil that is compatible with your lawn.

🌟 Level the soil:
Start to fill the hole and rake it out, then use your heels to firm the soil down and rake it out, making sure it is evenly distributed across the hole.

I used a long straight plank to make sure it was level across the lawn, I then used a lawn lute for the final level

🌟 Add grass seed : If you want to grow new grass in the hole, spread a layer of grass seed over the topsoil and lightly rake it in. Water the area regularly until the grass has been established

🌟To stop the birds from eating the grass seed, I made a scarecrow out of a bamboo cane and a plastic bag. (Make sure to write on the bag to tell the birds to go away)

🌟 Keep the area well-watered and avoid walking on it until the grass has fully established. Once the grass has grown in, mow it regularly to keep it at the appropriate height for your lawn.

And enjoy your new level lawn
