Gardening expert Katie Rushworth shows you how to clear and repair the bare and brown patches in your lawn. Start by raking out any dead grass and moss to allow more sunlight to reach the new grass seed. Ensure you have removed any weeds from the area of lawn you are repairing. Cover the area with a thin layer of top soil. Sow your seeds evenly and apply pressure to ensure the seed makes good contact with the soil.
