As I am about to rush out the door to cleanup an overnight 1.5-2" snow, I started hooking up the plow and things went south quick. For some reason the truck was elevated about a half inch higher than the plow, not good. From there, the 13pin connector lost a pin to corrosion, also not good.
Thankfully Liz was able to help me finagle the truck forward and help me get the plow attached. I ended up deflating the left tire, dropping the truck down a bit, and then lifting the A frame of the plow up, letting the bolt snap into place.
Thankfully the plow attached after and worked fine, despite missing one of the 13 pins. I think the pin related to the plow lights, which thankfully we didn't have to use during the day. As long as we could make a quick plow run on our residential driveways, I am happy!
We have an appointment next week at Weingartz to get that looked at, so hopefully we'll be all set by then!
