In this week's video, we renovate a tired old backyard putting green from start to finish. I will show you each step from what height it is, the problems the green has with the thinning of the turf at the side of the green and a tool to accurately measure the height of the green. We will aerate the lawn and look at the thatch, followed by a vertical cut to remove thatch and moss from the lawn We then overseeded the lawn with browntop bent and then dressed the lawn with USGA sand to level the green and help reduce the thatch.
