Spring weed prevention is easy. You can use any fertilizer that contains a pre-emergent crabgrass preventer to control crabgrass and a whole host of other weeds that may otherwise invade your beautiful lawn. Be careful though and don't use too much weed preventer anywhere that you intend to grow grass from seed later in the season.
