Just a DIYer trying to help with some lawn care. Beginning of Spring 2022, mow lawn second lowest setting, apply fertilizer (scotts bonus S) is what has worked for me the best so far, i usually apply insect and ant insecticide at the same time this steps i do 3 to 4 times a year, the barricade (pre-emergent) twice a year spring and fall prevents weeds seeds from penetrating into the ground and allowing new weeds to grow, The most important step is to water the lawn at least once a day, and your lawn will look amazing!!
